State tobacco-related legislative bills that have been introduced in the past week are listed below alphabetically by state:

Maryland: House Bill 134 (pre-filed for the 2021 session) relates to the prohibition of flavored tobacco products (full text not available). Senate Bill 177 (pre-filed for the 2021 session) relates to flavored tobacco products (full text not available).

New York: Senate Bill 84 (pre-filed for the 2021 session) prohibits the retail sale of flavored tobacco products and accessories. Senate Bill 174 (pre-filed for the 2021 session) prohibits the sale of an e-liquid used to refill an electronic cigarette or cartridge (does not apply to cartridges filled and sealed by the manufacturer). Assembly Bill 166 (pre-filed for the 2021 session) requires companies that sell electronic cigarettes to disclose their online advertising expenditures from the previous fiscal year.
