State tobacco-related legislative bills that have been acted on by a state legislative committee or state legislature are listed below alphabetically by state:

Illinois: House Bill 3883, which prohibits the sale of flavored tobacco and vapor products, including menthol cigarettes, will be considered in a hearing in the House Human Services Committee on November 12, 2019.

Massachusetts: House Bill 4089 and Senate Bill 2357, both of which would ban the sale of flavored tobacco products (except in smoking bars), are expected to be taken up by legislature in the near term.
