California: Senate Bill 793, which prohibits the sale of all flavored tobacco products and flavored tobacco product enhancers, excepting shisha sales in hookah tobacco retailers, passed out of the Assembly Health Committee on August 4, 2020.

Nebraska: Legislative Bill 1064, which increases the legal age to purchase and use tobacco and vapor products from 19 to 21 years of age, was placed on Final Reading on August 4, 2020. Legislative Bill 840, which includes the use of electronic cigarettes in the Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act, was signed by the Governor on August 6, 2020.
