California: Senate Bill 793, which prohibits the sale of all flavored tobacco products and flavored tobacco product enhancers, was amended on May 5, 2020 and passed the Senate Health Committee on May 13, 2020.
Hawaii: House Bill 2457, which, as amended, bans the sale of flavored tobacco products and increases fines for the purchase or possession of tobacco products and electronic smoking devices, passed the Senate Committees on Consumer Protection and Health and Education with amendments on March 11, 2020 and assigned to Senate Committee on Ways and Means on May 13, 2020.
Minnesota: House File 331, which increases the tobacco sales age to 21 years of age and adds charter schools to the prohibition of tobacco in schools, passed the House on Saturday, May 9, 2020. The companion bill in the Minnesota Senate, Senate File 463, was passed by the Senate on May 13, 2020.
Missouri: House Bill 1682, which prohibits vapor product usage in indoor areas of public schools or on school buses, has been substituted to include policy language and is awaiting concurrence from the House after passing the Senate on May 14, 2020.
Oklahoma: Senate Bill 1423, which increases the legal age to purchase and possess tobacco products and vapor products from 18 to 21 years of age, passed the House and moved to the Governor on May 12, 2020.
