State tobacco-related legislative bills that have been introduced in the past week are listed below alphabetically by state:

Colorado: House Bill 19-1333 includes a ballot measure that would increase the tax on cigarettes by $1.75 per pack, increase the OTP tax to 62% of the manufacturer’s list price, and impose a new tax on vapor products at the tax rate of 62%. If approved, the measure will go on the ballot in November, 2019.

New York: Assembly Bill 7275 prohibits the advertisement of electronic cigarettes, liquid nicotine and hookah tobacco within 500 feet of schools and parks.
