State tobacco-related legislative bills that have been introduced in a state legislature are listed below alphabetically by state:

Delaware: House Bill 417 prohibits a tax rate greater than $.50 cents per cigar upon the sale and use of a premium cigar.

New York: Assembly Bill 10711 requires all companies that sell electronic cigarettes to annually disclose to the commissioner of health their online advertising expenditures from the previous fiscal year. Senate Bill 6325 increases penalties for certain violations relating to the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products; requires revocation of license to sell lottery tickets and revocation of a liquor license. Senate Bill 8609 requires registration of vendors of electronic cigarettes. Senate Bill 8610 prohibits the sale of flavored e-liquid (exempts menthol).
